Timeless elegance
Sovak's diverse oeuvre is a universe of timeless elegance consisting of prints, drawings, paintings, collages and digital photographs that follow their own paths. This broad spectrum of different genres reflects Sovak's intense dialogue with his environment and nature, which are, however, never a direct reflection of visible reality.
A hidden world
For there is always a deeper layer of meaning, a hidden world full of forebodings or memories inherent in the works, and they always carry the viewer away anew into other mental spaces and displaced orders of time.
