"Installations Imaginaires"

From the early to about mid-1990s, the artist created invented installations about empty, deserted places, spaces, and parks that he photographed during his travels to the United States, France, and Germany.

Through color accents applied after printing or cleverly inserted details, Sovak alters, alienates, and transforms these found situations into localities full of disparate events that no longer correspond with reality.
