"Walls" and "Big Walls"

Skyscrapers in New York

A new, compressed view of the city and its architecture is given by color etchings (in combination with photogravure, aquatint, drypoint, partly watercolor) from 1990 on, which reflect almost abstract views of skyscrapers in New York in extreme close-up without sky or horizon.

In addition to these densely placed vertical, almost transparent-looking wall and building structures of light and dark colors, which are at the same time light and shadow, other city views will be created in the next few years, which are increasingly based on photographs.
